Roughly 22 Veterans a day lose their battle with PTSD. That has to change!
I’m always up for a good challenge. On the 22nd day of 22 consecutive months (Jan 2021-Oct 2022), I will walk 22 miles in honor of the 22 veterans a day that lose their battle to PTSD. Oh and my weight vest just arrived, so I’ll be wearing an additional 22 pounds once the plates arrive. Why not!?!
As I am spearheading this mission to raise awareness and funds to support education and assistance for those suffering from PTSD, I am also creating a community of support. There are many in the local community, state, and nation that have been affected by PTSD, and they have endured enough. Military veterans and first responders have committed to a life of service, and I am not done with mine. We are all in this together.
Each month I will spotlight a local veteran-owned, PTSD-focused organization and invite you to support them by any means necessary; financially (through their website), through prayers and encouragement, or volunteering. Any donations made to Bravo Tango Charlie will go toward the start-up capital needed to launch my own veteran-owned, PTSD-focused organization in Oct 2022. It’s time to Be the Change. Bravo Tango Charlie.
